If the fighting does not cease, we risk destroying everything around us, leaving no chance for survival. This must end. As once dreamed by great visionaries, hope lies in the triumph of wisdom and compassion. May those ideals prevail.

In Portugal, television broadcasts a category of programs known as BB types shows that can be seen as underwhelming representations of humanity.
These programs often lack genuine values, showcasing individuals who willingly subject themselves to humiliation, as if they've lost touch with their souls and divine spirits.
This unfortunate state reflects a troubling regression, falling below even the basic instincts of animal life, which possess an inherent worth that cannot be measured in monetary terms.
Sadly, many participants seem disconnected from the essential principles of human dignity, love, and education.
These shows often delve into the realms of weakness, drama, and shame, all for the sake of boosting ratings.
It’s disheartening to witness certain media outlets exploit the vulnerable, pressuring them to reveal intimate details of their lives without any regard for boundaries.
While I won’t mention specific names, these channels are a constant presence in our daily lives.
As a society, we should strive for growth and evolution, honoring our families and living with dignity, rather than debasing ourselves for the sake of entertainment in programs that thrive on shock value.
A spectacle of detachment
These BB broadcast cages are monitored 24 hours a day, laid bare for mass consumption. This spectacle illustrates how an entire people are drifting away from the cultural, educational, and human foundations that should define a nation.
Honouring our roots
While this issue may arise in various parts of the world, countries with rich histories have a duty to safeguard their cultural values.
Portugal finds itself at a crossroads, facing distractions that jeopardize its future. Many of its brightest minds are seeking opportunities abroad, feeling unappreciated in their homeland.
